Projekt 1

Producent firanek i tkanin dekoracyjnych - Polontex | Częstochowa

In June 2016, POLONTEX S.A. and its partners started working on an international project entitled:
"Innovative finishes for coating or surfacing of fabrics, to prepare them for digital printing with pigment ink, applied in a one-step PTP + FUN process"
Our partners:
National partner: the CottonBee company
Foreign partners: CTF2000 and University College Ghent
Project implementation period: June 1, 2016 - April 30, 2018.
Project co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development
as part of the M-ERA program, NET Transnational Call 2015.
Contract number: M-ERA.NET/2015/01/2016

The main goal of the project was to improve the quality of printouts (resolution, range of colors, clarity), improve the durability of the final print (increase resistance to dry and wet abrasion) and the ability to add functional properties (fire resistance, antibacterial effect, increased resistance to dirt) .
In terms of improving quality and durability, the objective of the project was to obtain finishing that would increase the durability and quality of the printout, as well as to develop a technological process allowing for effective and economical implementation of developed solutions on an industrial and semi-industrial scale.

Polontex S.A. has purchased a new endurance machine ,with a maximum load force of 5kN with a digital control system, as part of the project.
It is a modern machine for conducting strength tests on fabrics, such as: determination of tearing and maximum tensile force. It is an indispensable device for testing the strength of fabrics after the application of finishing developed by our foreign Partners from CTF2000 and University College Ghent. The employees of our in-house laboratory have been professionally trained and have already conducted the first tests on this device.
Purchase co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development as part of the M_ERA.NET Transnational Call 2015 program.
